Om Shanti Om Om Prakash Makhija (Shah Rukh Khan) is a junior artist in Bollywood films. He is head over heels in love with Shantipriya (Deepika Padukone), the star of the industry. She gets to meet him, and likes his simple nature and innocence. Om happens to witness an altercation between Shanti and Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal). He finds out that they are having a secret affair, and now that she is pregnant he wants her to abort. Shanti refuses, and Mukesh ends up killing her. Om tries to save her, but dies in the effort. Om gets reincarnated as Om Kapoor, a huge Bollywood star. His past comes rushing back to him, and he vows to make Mukesh aka Mike pay for his sins. Do Dooni Chaar is about a middle class Delhi family – the Duggal family. At the helm is mathematics teacher Satish Duggal (Rishi Kapoor) who earns a meager salary, like so many other teachers do, and runs his family on that much. He has long given up on dreams on his own house and car because clearly a teacher cannot afford them. His wife Kusum (Neetu Singh Kapoor) aids him. They have two children Payal (Aditi Vasudev) and Sandy (Archit Krishna) both of them crib that their father is not rich like parents of their friends. The story of DDC is woven around the family’s desire to own a car and what happens around it.

Story:

A good tale gone bad, the story begins with Rahul (john) who is at the peak of delight as he wins a big lottery and is celebrating it with a big bash. It is there he proposes to his lady love Nafisa (sonal) but soon collapses. The doctors declare that Rahul is suffering from lung cancer and he has few months to live. Shattered by this, Rahul leaves the place in the middle of the night without informing Nafisa and goes to a hospice where there are people like him. Though time is running out, their spirit has not run out and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
